Exports: this is what being a global player means.

When it was decided to produce trucks and buses in Brazil, being “just another” plant in this niche of the market was not part of Volkswagen’s idea.

After all, for a brand such as Volkswagen, the leader in so many sectors across the globe, the ambitious intent was to create a reference in the transport of passengers and cargo. For those who had this culture as a starting point, it would have been unthinkable to simply do the obvious or adapt products from other countries, as the competition had done. There would have to be originality, creativity, uniqueness and specificity.

Then, Volkswagen Brazil Trucks and Buses was born, the first plant of the brand in the world. There is no need to point out that it produces global vehicles, in other words, international quality vehicles - note that there are already Volkswagen Trucks and Buses rolling across all the continents. It shows that for those who know how to do things with quality, the world is their only limit.
